Recycling:
Tsitsikamma Crystal is a voluntary member of PETCO – an organisation that promotes and advances the collection and recycling of post-consumer PET material, as a paid service to PET resin producers, bottlers, converters and brand owners.

Tsitsikamma Crystal uses PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic bottles that do not have the chemical leaching elements associated with some other plastics, and is considered more suitable for food grade products. PET is the most environment friendly plastic because it does not impart the noxious gases that other plastics do when burnt. PET is also 100% recyclable.

Food Safety:
Tsitsikamma Crystal prides itself on providing quality, safe products and delivering superior service to our customers. To ensure that we consistently meet these expectations, we have implemented a food safety management system incorporating local and internationally recognized standards. In addition to regular internal audits, we are audited by SAFSIS (South African Food Safety Inspection services) and are very proud the 95% scored awarded to us.
