The beginning - Manual filling
The source surrounded by only Nature herself!

automated filling machine.
Judy Woodgate started Tsitsikamma Crystal in 1997 after discovering the high quality of spring water on their farm situated against the southern slope of the pristine Tsitsikamma Mountains. Initially Judy single-handedly bottled, packaged, invoiced and delivered to a supportive local community and her long term goal was to sell 500 bottles of water per day. After not too long, the business warranted employing an ever growing staff complement.

The first filling line consisted of four manually operated stainless steel valves. Eight years later a state of the art fully automated filling machine was imported from Italy. That too was quickly outgrown and replaced with a machine double the capacity of the first. Today Tsitsikamma Crystal Spring Water CC operates from tailor-made premises and the business has diversified into an entity that not only bottles still, sparking and flavoured water, but also manufactures its own bottles and preforms.

In 2008 Judy’s hard work was recognised by the Businesswoman's Association and she was chosen as the winner of the National Business Achiever Award in the Entrepreneur Category.

Because Nature gives this wonderfully pure water to us, we at Tsitsikamma Crystal in return give back to Nature by donating 1c per bottle sold to the Dolphin Action and Protection Group for their SAVE THE WHALES campaign? Your reward for supporting this worthy cause is the knowledge that you have played a role in helping with this project. And of course, you enjoy Tsitsikamma Crystal’s naturally pure, sweet taste!
